This past week, WireIE welcomed telecommunications engineer Jermin Girgis for the start of her 9-week tenure as a volunteer co-op student. The co-op placement comes through The Internationally Qualified Professionals Co-op Program, facilitated by the Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board. The students go through a program where they learn effective job search and language skills in order to prepare for work in their chosen occupation. The program is a combination of classroom training and on-the-job co-op work experience in the students’ chosen fields.
Girgis brings over nine years of experience in the design, planning, and integration of wireless networks. She will be working alongside WireIE’s VP of Technology, Bryce Mitchell.
Welcome Jermin!
